I am a sophomore at Drake University, on track to complete a 4-year degree in both Business Studies and Multimedia Journalism in 2025.
At Drake University, I am involved in a number of student organizations and groups. I currently work as the Marketing Coordinator for the Drake Broadcasting System, a group that works to act as a creative outlet for students interested in digital media production. The Drake Broadcasting System produces monthly live-shows, weekly web-series on YouTube, and other digital media content. I am working as the Sports Editor for the Times-Delphic, a student publication on-campus. The Times-Delphic publishes a weekly issue covering news on Drake University’s campus. I am also currently a member of the Drake Ultimate Team.
Outside of University life, I have completed a number of Internship experiences since attending Drake.
In the fall of 2021, I worked as a Research Intern for Vote Smart, a political research company focused on educating voters across America. I worked with a research team that consistently updated research data across the Vote Smart website.
In the Summer of 2022, I worked as a full-time marketing intern for AmesburyTruth, an international manufacturing company with corporate offices in Edina, Minnesota. I worked closely with the corporate marketing team to rebrand the company following the introduction of a new parent company, Tyman International. This led to my inclusion in the construction of a new website, the rebranding of hundreds of internal and external employee forms, the rebranding of on-site wording & signage, the creation of digital marketing campaigns for new applicants, and the marketing of website/on-site rebranding accomplishments.
In the fall of 2022, I began a position with CEimpact as a media intern, a part-time position. CEimpact is a pharmaceutical company based out of Des Moines, Iowa. In this position, I currently edit and publish pharmaceutical podcasts recorded by the company.
